the world can be amazing when you’re slightly strange

take a deep breath. it’s Sunday. better to get out of the house by 9 rather than 12. your form of transport with depend on what you have available: if you have to go to work the next day, take an intercity bus or a regional train. if you’ve just finished your exams or you have taken a week off from work, there’s no limit to where or what you can do (even take a plane).

here’s the fun bit: head for a station, port or airport with a backpack and make out your lost, like you’ve just landed from Mars or something. ask the first person who offers to help you where they are going and make that your destination too, wherever it may be. no maps, no GPS, nothing. from there, do whatever takes your fancy: relax, admire the scenery, talk to the old biddies in the street.

i’m sure you’ll have a ball.
